DRHP DRAFT

Denta Water and Infra Solutions Limited is a rapidly expanding water and infrastructure solutions firm that was founded in 2016. It specializes in groundwater recharge projects and designs, installs, and commissions water management infrastructure projects.

In order to meet the increasing need for water solutions, the company specializes in infrastructure projects, such as groundwater recharge using recycled water, and has experience with water engineering and EPC services.

Through the successful completion of significant projects including Byrapura, Hiremagaluru LIS, and KC Valley, the business has supported the governments Jal Jeevan Mission and helped manage Bengalurus wastewater.

The company grows cardamom, pepper, and coffee on 98 acres of land in Madikeri, Karnataka. It also operates a beach resort in Udupi, which makes money thanks to a facility management contract.

Strengths

  1. Groundwater recharge and drinking water supply projects in Karnataka make up the majority of the companys order book, which reflects its proficiency in securing and carrying out water management infrastructure projects.
  2. The company has secured subcontracts of ₹465.71 crore, independent direct contracts worth ₹46.99 crore, and direct contracts as a consortium partner worth ₹774 crore in groundwater recharge projects as of November 30, 2024.
  3. The companys in-house engineering and design team specializes in lift irrigation and groundwater recharge projects. The group makes use of sophisticated structural design tools, hydraulic flow analysis, and GIS mapping.
  4. In order to execute projects efficiently, the company adopts an asset-light approach, concentrating on design, planning, quality control, and monitoring while contracting out non-core tasks to specialized subcontractors.

Risks

  1. The companys top ten clients account for more than half of its revenue. Cash flows and profitability may suffer from the loss of important clients or from late payments.
  2. The business gets its basic materials from a small number of vendors. 40.01% of its raw materials in FY24 came from its top ten sources. Operations may be impacted by supply chain disruptions or the loss of important suppliers.
  3. The promoter is presently embroiled in ongoing legal proceedings. An unfavorable ruling can result in obligations that affect the business bottom line.
  4. Between FY23 and FY24, the companys revenue from government clients grew from 18.25% to 63.40%. Due to its reliance on the Karnataka government, which accounted for 83.98% of its revenue in H1FY25, the company is vulnerable to changes in government policies, budgetary restrictions, and decisions.
